The Vault - Backlash 2

Hypnotize them with a deck of cards.

Backlash 2 is an updated, streamlined version of Paul Harris's famous Backlash effect. A playing card is clearly signed on both sides by your spectator. They push their signed card into your pocket themselves... Without you ever going near your pocket, you show that it has in fact never left the deck... they confirm that the card in the deck is indeed their original signed card that they pushed into your pocket themselves moments ago.

Just as suddenly the signed card vanishes from the deck and appears back inside your pocket. You now show their signed card on both sides and shake it gently in front of their eyes... mouths drop when they see their signature slowly morph into yours. You can now hand the card out as a souvenir to remind them of your astonishing interaction.

Easy to do, no difficult sleight of hand.

Appear to have complete control of their thoughts and mind.

Use any deck of cards. End by giving them an impossible object to keep. Includes bonus interview with Paul Harris discussing the effect, timing, and presentation. Download Backlash 2 today.

"The only technique required is a simple one that most magicians probably know, but Bro Gilbert also explains it. Backlash 2 is useful for beginner or professional magicians alike. It can be used in walk-around, table, closeup, or street magic. " -Rolando Santos, Reviewer

"A great effect anyone can do that leaves the spectator with an impossible object. Highly Recommended." -Ryan Matney, Genii Magazine

"It’s such a strong trick for almost no work. With multiple moments of magic all stemming from one move. Plus it has a psychological element which makes the spectator apparently visually see the name change. " -Madison H, Reviewer

"Your success may be far greater than you expect, and the reactions you get may be far stronger than you think. In other words, Backlash 2 could just prove to be a surprise even for the magician himself. Now isn't that true magic?" -Ender's Game Review, Reviewer
