Two years ago, Wang Hongzhi and Jay Wang explored a question: Can a simple knife be used to create a quick and impactful opener? The answer is now here with The Perfect Knife-designed for a swift, direct effect without unnecessary complexities.
The magician selects a random audience member using a crumpled paper ball. The spectator is asked to imagine the ball as a fruit, "stabbing" it to experience its smell, juice, and taste. The spectator names the fruit they are imagining. While the choices feel free, the magician has subtly influenced and predicted the outcome.
At the reveal, the knife itself contains the prediction of the fruit.
But the magic doesn't end with fruits-the predictions are customizable. With The Perfect Knife, you can set up to three outs, making it versatile for most themes.
The Perfect Knife is inspired by the traditional Chinese tea knife, merging cultural heritage with modern functionality. Crafted with African rosewood, brass, and zinc alloy, its intricate patterns and flawless construction showcase masterful attention to detail.
