How does the person get it?

By email, with the code and the amount. If you pick a date, it arrives that day; if not, straight after checkout.

Can I send it to myself and pass it on?

Yes. Choose “Me” and the code comes to you. Forward it, print it, or write it in a card.

How do I check my balance?

Type your code on the gift card balance page and you’ll see what’s left. The “View gift card balance” link in your gift card email works too, and checkout shows how much the card covers when you enter the code.

Does it expire?

It’s valid for 1 year from the day it’s bought. The exact date is in the gift card email.
