While the effect is interesting, the instructional video is horribly overpriced for what it is! Also, this effect is surprisingly simple to perform, (so amateurs will have NO problems mastering it). As such, the video is painfully too long for what you were taught. It could have been fully explained in two minutes or far less. You WILL need to provide your own materials to make the gimmick, which is VERY EASY to make. If you can properly use scissors & a marker, you should have NO problems. Also, it is critical to perform it in controlled lighting situations. If you don't, you may quickly reveal how the effect is accomplished. Wearing strongly patterned, or dark coloured clothing may help if you're worried about that.

Overall, the effect isn't bad. But, the pricing & instructional length are far out of proportion. Would I recommend it? Well, yes. Except, I HIGHLY suggest waiting for it to go on sale before buying it!

I think it's a wonderful visual. It will last a second, but leave a lifetime impression.
