Overview
Obscura is a new method that utilizes a clever mathematical idea, never before seen in numerology-based date of birth and star sign reveals, refined into the most streamlined prop-less version of the effect-simple, direct, and effortless in performance.
Imagine gently guiding someone through a few simple steps using basic numerology. They arrive at a single number that holds meaning for them-their life number. As they focus on that number, with nothing written down and nothing said out loud, you're able to reveal their exact date of birth and star sign.
Obscura isn't just a method-it's an experience. A fleeting, natural moment that feels like real intuition. But behind the scenes, it's something far more ingenious: a new approach using numerology layered with psychological subtlety and deceptive language that keeps the secret perfectly hidden.
They work out their life number using simple math anyone can do, with the performer making sure it's the number that truly belongs to them-the one that feels right and resonates with who they are. As they focus on this number, you already know their full, exact date of birth and star sign. Think of the clarity of the "Isobella's Star" formula, but without the need for any extra process once they've arrived at their life number proper. You can give a reading, or forgo it entirely and go straight to the reveal.
Obscura, at its core, is driven by a principle taken from advanced mathematics-but don't be misled by that. The method is effortless to perform, and the process for your participant is just as simple. Everything can be done mentally, using only the most basic, child-level maths. Despite the sophistication behind the scenes, it remains direct, clear, and easy for anyone to follow.
Fraser has taken the prop-less date of birth revelation and turned it on its head. This is his go-to. It's clean, fast, and feels completely fair from the participant's point of view.
There's nothing to suspect.
Obscura is a printed booklet, strictly limited to just 60 copies. Once they're gone, they're gone.
If you've ever wanted a direct, beautifully structured method to reveal someone's date of birth using nothing but your words and their own thoughts, Obscura might just become your new standard.
