Kite Playing Cards

The invention of the kite dates back approximately 2,500 years to the Eastern Zhou period. By the Sui and Tang dynasties, the papermaking industry had flourished, bringing kites into the homes of ordinary people. They began to use paper to cover kites, calling them "paper kites," a tradition that continues to this day. As a form of entertainment, paper kites gradually became imbued with more beautiful symbolism.

This project uses traditional Chinese paper kites as its design inspiration, capturing the essence of childhood fun and millennia of heritage, transcending worldly beauty.

Kites are the first batch of China's intangible cultural heritage, number: ?-88.

ARK has always been dedicated to exploring the diversity of different themes and cultures, bringing them to life with intricate designs, outstanding inspiration, and exceptional craftsmanship. Each creation is a journey into the unknown, and a vivid expression of the ARK team's innovative spirit.

Among these, the stories we tell best are the ones from China. Born and raised in this culture, we carry the deepest confidence and passion for it. Whether it's the Azure Dragon and White Tiger of the Zodiac, the lingering echoes of the opera, or the mythical creatures of the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

And this time, it's a story about soaring-another tale from China.

Gracefully balancing tradition and sophistication, inspired by the Chinese intangible heritage of the kite. Soar to the sky.
