Overview
Introducing THE GEMINI FILES by Dead Rebel Magic.
A Cold War Psychic Test from Project STARGATE
In the hidden corners of the intelligence world, long before the files were declassified, the CIA operated a covert psychic research division known as Project STARGATE. Buried inside its most classified archives was an off-shoot program called Operation GEMINI - a project designed to pair psychically attuned operatives and test the limits of remote perception.
What remains from that era is a single stack of 26 personnel ID cards:
13 men and 13 women, each meticulously recreated from authentic 1970s CIA styling, complete with subtle ageing, photographic profiles, and period-correct formatting.
These aren't props. They look and feel like evidence.
And with them comes a story few are aware of...
Two Soviet agents managed to infiltrate Project STARGATE. They lived and trained among the Americans for years, disguised as ordinary participants - so skilled that even other psychics could not uncover them.
Now your participant must do what the CIA could not.
THE EFFECT
A stack of STARGATE ID cards is introduced - the men and women who once served in America's most secret psychological operation. The cards are shown to be thoroughly mixed.
Your participant is told that hidden somewhere in this stack are the two Soviet double agents who nearly compromised the entire project.
One by one, they begin to 'sense' the cards, trusting intuition, instinct, or whatever strange sense STARGATE was attempting to develop. When they believe they've identified the first infiltrator, they commit to it. They repeat the process and isolate the second.
Every decision is theirs.
Nothing is forced.
No suspicious moves.
A memo card - prepared before the experiment began - is turned over.
It names the two Russian agents.
Your participant turns over the two cards they selected.
They match perfectly.
A clean, elegant, and unnervingly direct demonstration of Cold War psychic detection, built on the timeless method behind Karl Fulves' classic Gemini Twins, reimagined as a piece of classified CIA history.
BONUS
Because the set includes 13 men and 13 women, the cards are also perfectly suited for additional psychic-selection routines. Your participant can use their "STARGATE-trained" abilities to separate genders, giving you a versatile toolkit for further out-of-this-world demonstrations.
