Overview
Artist Playing Cards by Captan Cards are designed to ensure that you own a museum of 52 brilliant art pieces and not just a deck of playing cards.
The Artist Playing Cards feature four distinct periods of creative divergence, the deck encapsulates hundreds of years of artistic evolution in 52 pieces of paper.
Andrei Captan has hand illustrated all the 52 different playing cards with the highest attention to detail to create a historically informed, immersive viewing experience.
Grouping suits together would sacrifice the artistic power of each card. Instead of trying to fit the cards together, they explode in structured chaos. By alternating between the three styles of each suit, the deck becomes a rainbow of technique and form.
Encased in a gold foiled and embossed museum inspired tuck box, this deck is perfect for card collectors and art connoisseurs alike.
