Meet the magician

Paul Romhany.

Paul Romhany grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, and now lives in British Columbia. He is best known for a silent Charlie Chaplin magic act that has taken him to more than 120 countries, much of it as a headline act on cruise ships. He started VANISH, a magazine for magicians, in 2012 and is still its editor. He has written more than 40 books, and in 2015 New Zealand gave him its Grand Master of Magic award.
