Last-Minute Magic Gifts: Why Digital Magic Downloads Are the Answer
The Online Magic Store ·
TL;DR: If it's too late to ship a physical trick, give a magic download or streaming tutorial. They're delivered instantly, many cost less than a physical prop, and they teach tricks that usually use everyday objects the recipient already owns.
Why downloads make great last-minute gifts
- Instant delivery. No shipping, no customs, no waiting.
- Everyday objects. Many downloads teach magic with cards, coins, pens, or borrowed items, so there's nothing else to buy.
- Real skill. A good tutorial teaches technique the recipient keeps for life.
What kinds of downloads are there?
| Type | Best for |
|---|---|
| Single-trick tutorials | Someone who wants one strong effect to perform quickly |
| Video courses | Someone ready to build a skill, like How To Do Coin Magic |
| Mentalism downloads | Someone who prefers talking and mind reading over handling props |
| Phone magic | Someone who wants magic they can always perform. See our phone magic guide |

Before you buy: check what's needed
Some downloads teach tricks that need a special gimmick or prop that isn't included. Read the product description carefully. If it mentions a gimmick, check whether it's a "gimmick included" version or instructions only.

- Share access with the recipient on the day.
