How it started: a Grade 8 teacher
Kameron's interest in magic began in Pickering's Bay Ridges neighbourhood, inspired by his Grade 8 teacher at John A. Macdonald Public School. Fittingly, his path to AGT began with in-class viewings of the show. He went on to build a career performing close-up magic at weddings, private parties, and corporate events across the Greater Toronto Area.
His AGT 2026 run
- Auditions and callbacks: card magic that left judges Sofia Vergara and her guest judges stunned with a final prediction. He won a head-to-head callback against a fellow magician to reach the live shows.
- Quarterfinals: a close-up card routine involving guest judge Kenan Thompson, the other judges, and the audience earned a standing ovation from Mel B. Viewers voted him through to the semifinals.
- Semifinals: a layered card routine earned a standing ovation from Howie Mandel, but he was eliminated in the September 16 results show.
He was one of four magic acts in the season, alongside runner-up Geno Ploeger, third-place Hundred Fingers, and Young & Strange.
Style: why his magic works
Kameron's act is built on audience involvement. Rather than performing at people, he makes the judges and audience part of the trick, so the impossible moment happens in their hands. It's classic close-up thinking scaled up for television, and a great example of why close-up magic can work on even the biggest stage.
