Since preparing it, I have kept this Sharpie in my pocket everywhere I've gone. I got to bust it out a bunch last week at an art crawl (hopping from art gallery to art gallery). The Sharpie is obviously a familiar item to all the artists I interacted with, but no one was ready for what was about to happen. *One tip if you are doing this for artists: keep a dollar bill handy. Many artists are - how shall I put it? - cash poor. The effect is pretty easy to pull off, although there is one part that is a little knacky. Nothing a little misdirection couldn't fix (Look! Look! A baby wolf!). I'm very happy with this. I have a few other effects involving Sharpies and this is a nice launch pad.

This is Misled by David Copperfield performed with a sharpie instead of the original which uses a pencil. (The pencil version is more deceptive)This effect is literally mind melting! The spectators have had very strong reactions when I performed this last night to about 20 different people. (Made $108 in tips, so this trick has already paid for itself)

Another GREAT trick from Alan Rorrison. As soon as I learned the handling, I started using it in my close up magic. It fits my style perfectly.

this is actually a nice variation on the pencil trick. It's much more 'normal' for you to be carrying a sharpie around compared to a pencil. 10/10 to practicality.

The method is surprisingly simple. I love that you can borrow any bill and perform this trick. looks soooooooo clean!
